T0900 - Armed and Unarmed Security Guard Services for NJ - Statewide

Background
This Bid Solicitation is issued by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property, on behalf of various State agencies. The purpose is to solicit Quotes for Armed and Unarmed Security Guard services across Northern, Central, and Southern regions of New Jersey. Work Details
The Contractor shall provide Armed, Unarmed, and/or Mobile/Roving Security Guards based on Using Agency requirements. Services are required on an 'as needed' basis for all present and future locations. The Contractor must comply with the Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) and ensure that all security guards assigned are in full compliance with SORA regulations.

Specific requirements include:
- Normal tours consist of one guard per eight-hour shift; guards cannot work more than eight consecutive hours in a 24-hour period.
- All security guards must have company photo identification, be bonded with a minimum limit of $500,000, be fluent in English, and have a valid driver's license if operating vehicles.
- Armed Security Guards must possess current firearm permits issued by New Jersey and complete necessary training courses.
- The Contractor shall provide uniforms, equipment (including firearms), vehicles if required, and ensure that all personnel meet specified qualifications.
- The Contractor is responsible for managing security guard assignments across various locations as determined by each Using Agency's needs.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award notification and will continue as needed based on agency requirements. Specific timelines for service delivery will be determined by individual agency requests.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout the Northern, Central, and Southern regions of New Jersey as designated by the Using Agencies.
