Public Relations Services

Background
The County of Passaic is a regional government comprised of sixteen municipalities in northern New Jersey. The County is seeking a qualified firm or consultant to provide Public Relations Services to support the development of earned news media services through strategic planning, key message development, and support for specific projects and overall County activities.

Work Details
The selected firm/consultant will be responsible for:
- Advising on communications strategy and talking points;
- Developing news releases;
- Assisting with daily media inquiries;
- Providing communications and media training;
- Developing a media response protocol;
- Advising on crisis communication including crisis plans and post-crisis analysis;
- Helping plan and conduct news conferences and community advisory meetings;
- Providing support for special events including logistics coordination, speech writing, and media relations;
- Managing community outreach efforts for selected projects.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028, with two one-year options to renew.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Passaic County, New Jersey.
