HVAC System Assessment & Replacement and Roof Systems Replacements - NJDOT Thiokol Complex, Ewing, Trenton County, NJ

Background
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) is issuing a contract for the HVAC System Assessment & Replacement and Roof Systems Replacements at the NJDOT Thiokol Complex located in Ewing, Mercer County, NJ.

The goal of this contract is to assess and replace the existing HVAC systems and roof systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with current standards.

Work Details
The project involves a comprehensive assessment and replacement of HVAC systems and roof systems at the NJDOT Thiokol Complex. Bidders are required to submit a single bid (lump sum for all trades) and must be classified with the Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following trades: General Construction (C008) or General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009).

Additionally, bidders must list classified subcontractors for the following trades: Structural Steel & Ornamental Iron (C029), Plumbing (C030), HVACR (C032), Electrical (C047), Roofing – Membrane EPDM (C066). Failure to list all required DPMC Classified subcontractors will render the bid non-responsive.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence after the bid opening on December 12, 2024, with specific timelines to be determined upon award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the NJDOT Thiokol Complex located at 1035 Parkway Avenue, Ewing, Mercer County, NJ.
