Consulting Services To Addidt Trenton Police Department

Background
The City of Trenton, located in Mercer County, New Jersey, is seeking qualified consultants to assist the Trenton Police Department in obtaining accreditation from nationally recognized agencies such as the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) and the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP).

The goal of this contract is to enhance the operational standards and accountability of the police department through formal accreditation.

Work Details
The consultant will provide a comprehensive suite of services including:
1. Oversight and mentorship in securing NJSACOP accreditation by meeting national standards.
2. Complete rewriting and revision of the police department's standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with accrediting organizations' standards.
3. Management of the documentation process necessary for accreditation, including assembling proofs of compliance and managing files.
4. Conducting on-site assessments to evaluate compliance with accreditation standards.
5. Designing training modules tailored to meet mandatory training requirements set by the New Jersey Attorney General's Office and CALEA/NJSACOP Accreditation Programs.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue until the completion of all required services necessary for accreditation, with specific timelines to be determined during contract negotiations.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed at the Trenton Police Department located at 225 North Clinton Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey.
