Surplus Property Notice to bidders

Background
The City of Grand Forks, through its City Council and the Department of Finance and Administrative Services, is offering surplus property for sale. This initiative aims to dispose of items that are no longer needed by the city, thereby optimizing resources and providing opportunities for local bidders to acquire these assets.

Work Details
The surplus property available for bidding includes:

1. 2008 Ford F150 ½ ton 4x4 Pickup - 84,690 miles, includes light bar rack & light.
2. 2011 Ford F250 4x4 Pickup with V-plow - 135,600+ miles, equipped with a 9’2” Boss V-plow and newer tires.
3. 2006 Chevrolet CK2500 4x4 Pickup with V-plow - 177,000+ miles, features an 8’2” Boss V-plow; note that the fuel gauge does not work.
4. 2011 Bandit 250 Chipper - has not been used in several years.
5. Rear Load Containers:
- 6-yard containers (Quantity: 8) - never used, no lids.
- 4-yard containers (Quantity: 6) - never used, no lids.

All items are sold 'as is, where is' without warranties or guarantees regarding their condition or fitness for any purpose.

Period of Performance
Bids will be accepted until December 13, 2024, at 4:00 PM. The winning bidder will be announced on December 16, 2024, and must complete payment and collection of the item within ten days after the award.

Place of Performance
The bidding process takes place at the Department of Finance and Administrative Services located at 255 N 4th St, Grand Forks, North Dakota.
