Pest Control Services

Background
The Life Skills & Transition Center, part of the State of North Dakota, is seeking to procure professional pest control services for its buildings, campus grounds, and tunnels. The goal of this contract is to ensure a pest-free environment that supports the center's mission of providing life skills and transition services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide monthly pest control services including trap checks for pests and rodents, spraying for common pests such as flies, ladybugs, ants, and spiders, and maintaining insecticide bait stations. Seasonal wasp and bee control will also be included.

Services must be conducted during regular hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CT) unless prior approval is obtained. Weekly services will be provided as needed to address any pest outbreaks between regular visits. Emergency callbacks must be handled within 24 hours of notification.

The contractor must check in with the Plant Services Office before performing any scheduled services and provide service tickets detailing the work completed. All personnel must complete a one-time orientation at the Life Skills & Transition Center and provide documentation such as material safety data sheets for all chemicals used. Compliance with North Dakota pesticide regulations is mandatory, requiring commercial pesticide applicators licenses and training certificates.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence on July 1, 2025, and conclude on June 30, 2027. There is an option for the state to extend the contract for an additional period not exceeding 12 months.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Life Skills & Transition Center located at 816 W Midway Dr., Grafton, ND 58237.
