FileNet Data Migration Services

Background
The State of North Dakota, through its Job Service North Dakota (JSND), is seeking proposals for a FileNet Migration vendor to extract data out of FileNet and prepare it for upload to the state's new Unemployment Insurance system, which is currently being implemented. JSND has contracted with Geographic Solutions, Inc. (GSI) to implement the new Unemployment Insurance system, which includes an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) built into GUS. JSND and the Information Technology Department do not have the tools necessary for a bulk extract of data from the FileNet system or to de-duplicate the documents.
The State is seeking a FileNet Migration contractor to extract documents, annotations, and metadata out of the FileNet system, perform data clean-up activities, and work with GSI to ensure a successful upload of data. Approximately 15 million Unemployment Insurance documents (1.5 TB of data) will need to be migrated.

Work Details
The vendor is required to extract documents, annotations, and metadata out of the State of North Dakota’s FileNet system for upload to another system. Additionally, the vendor must perform data clean-up activities such as transformation of indexes and de-duplication of documents. The vendor is also expected to work with GSI as needed to ensure a successful upload of data.

Period of Performance
The contract start date is approximately September 1, 2024.
