Wire Pasture Access Development Project - Contract Opportunity

Background
The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources- Division of Parks and Recreation is seeking proposals for the Lumber River State Park – Wire Pasture Access Development Project. The project includes the construction of a Contact Station, Open Pavilion, paved parking area, gravel overflow parking area, and a paved existing road.

Work Details
The project includes a 5,005 SF Contact Station with a shingled roof, a 2,480 SF Open Pavilion with a metal roof, paved parking area, gravel overflow parking area, and a paved existing road.
The Contact Station includes an exhibit area, reception area, office spaces, classroom, breakroom, mechanical room, and storage spaces.
The Exterior Bathrooms include a unisex bathroom, storage, and combination bathroom/changing areas.

Period of Performance
Sealed proposals will be received by the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources- Division of Parks and Recreation at 2819 Princess Ann Road, Orrum, NC until 2:00 pm on July 30, 2024.
The pre-bid meeting will be held on June 27th, 2024 at the project site (11764 US HWY 74 W, Maxton, NC).

The project will be performed at Lumber River State Park – Wire Pasture Access Development Project located at 11764 US HWY 74 W, Maxton, NC.
