Background
The State of North Carolina, through the Department of Adult Correction, is seeking proposals for the acquisition of warehouse space.
The goal is to secure approximately 4,463 square feet of usable space within a 30-mile radius of Raleigh, NC.
This space will support the operations of the agency and must meet specific requirements outlined in the solicitation.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a warehouse space that includes:
- A total net usable area of approximately 4,463 square feet.
- The space must be fully conditioned and humidity-controlled.
- A minimum ceiling height of 15 feet is required, with a preference for 20 feet.
- The layout should include:
- Storage area (3,200 sq ft)
- Breakroom (80 sq ft)
- Secured general storage (100 sq ft)
- Receiving area (150 sq ft)
- Adequate and convenient toilet facilities compliant with ADA standards.
- Electrical requirements include at least 60 duplex outlets and telecommunication outlets.
- Parking provisions for clientele and state vehicles are required, including adequate lighting and accessibility compliance.

Period of Performance
The lease term is set for an initial period of 5 years, with five one-year renewal options available.
Possession of the space is required by December 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
The warehouse space must be located within a secure environment in a non-retail, non-residential area within +/- 30 miles of Raleigh, North Carolina.
