Town of Apex Big Branch 1 Force Main & Water Line

Background
The Town of Apex, North Carolina, is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the Big Branch 1 Force Main and Water Line. This project is initiated under NC General Statutes 143-129, aiming to enhance the town's water infrastructure. The contract is issued by RXR Len Apex Owner, LLC, with the goal of providing necessary improvements to the water distribution system in Apex.

Work Details
The project involves constructing approximately 5,670 linear feet of a 20-inch force main, 3,475 linear feet of a 12-inch water main, and 2,385 linear feet of an 8-inch water main. This includes all associated appurtenances necessary for the installation and operation of these pipelines.

1. Mobilization, Bonding, and Insurance (1 LS)
2. Traffic Control Measures for All Temporary Road/Lane Closures (1 LS)
3. Clearing & Grubbing (1 LS)
4. 20" C900 DR18 PVC Force Main (3,785 LF)
5. 20" Class 350 R.J. DIP Force Main (1,885 LF)
6. Installation of various fittings including valves and bends
7. Rock Excavation - Force Main Installation (Bid Allowance) (700 CY)
8. Cleanup & Pressure Testing for both force main and water main installations.
9. Water Main components include various sizes and classes of DIP water mains totaling over 5,000 LF.
