Sunnyside Elementary School Roof Replacement Project

Background
The Cumberland County Board of Education is issuing a solicitation for the Roof Replacement Project at Sunnyside Elementary School, located at 3876 Sunnyside School Road, Fayetteville, NC.

The mission of the Board is to provide a safe and conducive learning environment for students. This project aims to ensure the integrity and functionality of the school’s roofing system.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Complete tear-off of the existing roof assembly.
2. Installation of base and tapered insulation with an adhered coverboard.
3. Installation of a single-ply PVC membrane.
4. Installation of metal edging, gutters, and downspouts.

The total roof area to be addressed is approximately 14,190 square feet. Additional alternate bids may be requested as per the project manual and drawings.

Period of Performance
The anticipated start date for the project is between December 2024 and January 2025.
