Subcontractor Re-Bids Opportunity: City of Raleigh East Civic Tower Project

Background
The City of Raleigh, North Carolina, Engineering Services Department, is seeking prequalified subcontractors for the City of Raleigh East Civic Tower (ECT) project. The project is being managed by Brasfield & Gorrie in association with Holt Brothers Construction. The City of Raleigh encourages participation by certified HUB/MWBE/DBE firms and supports efforts to ensure and promote opportunities for minority- and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs).
The MWBE Program advocates actions that increase opportunities for historically underutilized businesses and promote diversity and inclusion in City of Raleigh contracting.

Work Details
The project includes two bid packages: 01B – Final Cleaning and 28A – Security and Access Control Systems. The bid documents are available from the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and interested subcontractors are encouraged to contact Nicole Hollyfield for details.
The City has an aspirational goal of 15% of the total contract amount to be performed by MWBE businesses on construction and repair projects of $300,000 or more, and contracts of $100,000 or more that include any State funding. All bids shall satisfy the requirements of NCGS 143-128.2.

Period of Performance
Sealed bids must be hand-delivered to a representative of Brasfield & Gorrie at Halifax Community Center, large meeting room, at 1023 Halifax St., Raleigh NC 27604, no later than 1:00 pm on March 27, 2024, or mailed to Brasfield & Gorrie’s Raleigh office for receipt on March 26, 2024 by 1:00 pm.
Bids will be opened and read aloud after closing bidding at 1:00 pm on March 27, 2024.

The work will be performed in Raleigh, North Carolina.
