The County aims to select qualified contractors who can meet the specified requirements and deliver high-quality work.
Work Details
The contract includes comprehensive roofing work at multiple buildings within the Moore County Water Pollution Control Plant located at 1094 Addor Road, Aberdeen, NC 28315. The scope of work includes:
1. **Building B-1 (Press Room)**:
- Inspect roof field and repair or replace any obvious damage.
- Install counter flashing to cover termination bar.
- Flash all penetrations, wall edges, tie-ins, etc., to create a watertight condition.
- Remove debris from roof area and clean up all job-related debris.
- Furnish all associated supplies and materials.
- Provide warranty details.
2. **Building B-1 (Heater Room)**:
- Remove existing roof down to concrete decking and dispose of properly.
- Install a layer of insulation in adhesive.
- Fully adhere a 50 mil membrane over insulation.
- Flash all penetrations, wall edges, tie-ins, etc., to create a watertight condition.
- Demo and remove wooden roof access & install new service access hatch.
- Clean up & haul away all debris from job.
- Furnish all associated supplies and materials.
- Provide warranty details.
3. **Building B-6 (First Stage Aeration – Control Room)**: Similar tasks as above including inspection, flashing, debris removal, and warranty provision.
4. **Building B-10 (Second Stage Aeration – Control Room)**: Similar tasks as above including inspection, flashing, debris removal, and warranty provision.
5. **Building B-12 (Raw Sewage Pump Station)**: Similar tasks as above including inspection, flashing, debris removal, and warranty provision.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by May 2025. Specific timelines will be discussed during the pre-construction meeting.

All work will be performed at the Moore County Water Pollution Control Plant located at 1094 Addor Road, Aberdeen, NC 28315.
