Background
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, through the Department of Administration's State Property Office, is seeking proposals for the lease of approximately 15,180 net square feet of office space in Durham. This solicitation aims to provide suitable office accommodations for the department's operations while ensuring compliance with state specifications regarding safety and maintenance.

Work Details
Proposers must submit a final per-square-foot price proposal based on specifications PO-27 and PO-28. This includes all costs related to full-height partitions, demolition, up-fitting, building and grounds maintenance, taxes, insurance, and other operational costs.

Proposals may include full services such as:
- Utilities ($1.50/sq. ft.)
- Janitorial services ($1.00/sq. ft.)
- Water/sewer ($0.17/sq. ft.)

The space must be free of hazardous asbestos and lead paint throughout the tenancy. Proposals should also detail the number of parking spaces provided at no cost to the state.

Period of Performance
