Request for Information: Business Continuity Management Application and Integrated Emergency Notification System

Background
The State of North Carolina, through its Department of Information Technology, is seeking to replace a legacy application used for Business Continuity Management with an integrated Emergency Notification System. This initiative aims to enhance the management of Business Continuity plans and related processes.

Work Details
The Request for Information (RFI) seeks detailed information and recommendations regarding products and services that address all aspects of Business Continuity Management, including:

- Business Continuity
- Disaster Recovery
- Business Impact Analysis
- Risk Assessment
- Testing
- Exercising
- Education & Training

Vendors must demonstrate compliance with security guidelines from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications 800-37 Rev. 2 and 800-53 Rev. 5. The proposed solution must include all necessary hardware, software, licenses, support, maintenance, training, and labor. Responses should also include annotated drawings showing the interconnection of elements in the proposed solution, identify any capacity limitations for usage, define all required services for the solution, and outline the data migration process for transferring approximately 60GB of data from the legacy system.

Period of Performance
Responses to this RFI are due by September 10, 2024. Vendors will have ten days to prepare their submissions after the issuance date of August 27, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed in North Carolina.
