Replacement of Damaged Laundry Equipment for Campus Facilities

Background
The Residential Living Department at Western Carolina University is seeking to replace damaged laundry equipment to enhance the convenience and efficiency of on-campus laundry facilities. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Contract.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement and installation of laundry equipment, specifically:
- (12) Speed Queen Washer/Dryer Stack Combo units – Model #STENYFSP176TW01 or current equivalent electric Quantum Gold Pro model set for non-coin op 'free play'.
- (6) Speed Queen Dryer Stack units – Model #SSENYFGS176TW01 or current equivalent electric Quantum Gold Pro model set for non-coin op 'free play'.
- (11) Speed Queen front-load washing machines – Model #SFNNYASP116TW01 or current equivalent electric Quantum Gold Pro model set for non-coin op 'free play'.

Installation requirements include delivery, setting, leveling, and installation of all new equipment. This includes new ductwork for dryers, new electrical connections, plumbing for washing machines, and control programming for 'free play' usage. The vendor must also dispose of old equipment.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of one year, beginning on the date of final contract execution. Anticipated delivery dates are June - July 2025, with installation required by August 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, NC 28723. Specific installation sites include Black Rock Hall and The Village.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be registered in good standing as a North Carolina vendor. They must provide a signed statement from the manufacturer confirming authorization to distribute the specified products. Vendors are also required to complete various attachments including HUB Supplemental Vendor Information and Certification of Financial Condition.
