Repaving and Site Improvements at Johnston Community College - Phase 1 Bid Solicitation

Background
Johnston Community College is issuing a bid solicitation for the Repaving Phase 1 project, which aims to enhance the college's infrastructure. The project includes various construction activities that are essential for improving campus facilities and ensuring safety and accessibility for students and staff.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Tree clearing;
2. Site demolition;
3. Asphalt paving;
4. Grading and drainage;
5. Erosion control;
6. Site lighting.

Additionally, alternate bids are requested for:
(1) LRC Service Driveway Improvements,
(2) Sealcoat Jaguar Drive,
(3) Full Depth Reclamation in lieu of Base Bid Traditional Paving.

Bids will be accepted for a Single Prime General Contract, with all proposals required to be submitted as lump sum.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence following the bid award on April 29th, 2025, with specific timelines to be determined based on project requirements.
