Procurement Opportunity: Purchase of Four BMW R 1250 RT-P Motorcycles for Sheriff's Office

Background
Rowan County is planning to purchase four (4) BMW R 1250 RT-P Motorcycles for the Sheriff’s Office (SO). The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to contract for the purchase of the motorcycles. The Bidder must be licensed in North Carolina.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the purchase of four (4) BMW R 1250 RT-P Motorcycles for the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. The motorcycles must have specific factory options and additional upfit requirements, including adaptive headlight, gear shift assist pro, ride modes pro, additional LED headlights, enhanced smart phone connectivity, heated seats, tire pressure monitoring, adaptive cruise control, weather protection, and various LED lights.
All units shall be equipped with a siren and speaker approved for use on motorcycles.

Period of Performance
The delivery of the vehicles shall be made within 180 days of receipt of the purchase order by the Dealer and/or Manufacturer.

Place of Performance
The vehicles shall be delivered FOB to the Rowan County Facilities Department at 425 Airport Road, Salisbury, NC 28147.
