Procurement of 500 Xerox Duplex XD-COMBO Scanners for DMV Offices

Background
The North Carolina Department of Transportation, specifically the Division of Motor Vehicles, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to procure 500 Xerox Duplex XD-COMBO Scanners.
The goal is to enhance operational efficiency within DMV Driver’s license offices by providing high-quality scanning equipment.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of 500 units of Xerox Duplex XD-COMBO Scanners.
Each scanner must include the following items: Power Supply, USB Cable, Spare ADF pad, Power Plug Adapters, Quick Installation Guide, Technical Support Card, Warranty Card, and a DVD-ROM with user’s manual software & drivers.

The specifications for the scanners include:
- ADF scan speeds up to 30 ppm / 60 ipm @ 300 or 200 dpi (Color, B&W or grayscale)
- Optical Resolution: 600 dpi
- Imaging sensor: CIS
- Light Source: LED (instant on)
- Output Bit Depth: 24-bit color, 8-bit grayscale
- Support for various media types including paper and plastic ID cards.

The scanners must be compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of award.
Delivery of the scanners is expected within 10 consecutive calendar days after receipt of purchase order.
