Mobile HVAC Training Simulator Trailer with Advanced Simulation Technology

Background
The State of North Carolina, through Robeson Community College (RCC), is seeking competitive sealed bids for the procurement of a Mobile HVAC Training Simulator Trailer. This initiative aims to enhance workforce development and training programs in HVAC industrial technology by providing a mobile unit that integrates advanced simulation technology, including virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) systems.

The trailer will serve as a demonstration unit that supports hands-on training and outreach programs, allowing RCC to conduct training at various locations without the need for fixed infrastructure.

Work Details
The contract requires the vendor to furnish, deliver, and install a fully equipped HVAC Simulator Trailer with the following specifications:
1. **Chassis**: Full perimeter aluminum frame, all-tube aluminum construction, triple tube A-frame, Dexter torsion axles with electric brakes on all axles, breakaway battery kit, 7-way trailer plug, safety chains with storage loop, 5000# manual jack, smooth aluminum wheel boxes, and ST235/85R16 tires with aluminum wheels.

2. **Interior**: One-piece aluminum subfloor vapor barrier, high-performance drymax subfloor, LED dome lights with switch, power roof vent with switch, 6.5' interior height, recessed D-rings for securing equipment.

3. **Exterior**: .030 aluminum skin with screwless/rivetless design, arched walk-on service roof, LED clearance lights and tail lights.

4. **Additional Features**: The trailer must include specialized training simulators and tools for HVAC training programs. It should also integrate VR or AR systems to enhance skill development. The vendor must ensure that the trailer is customizable to accommodate specific training needs and complies with all relevant regulatory standards.

Period of Performance
The delivery and installation of the HVAC Simulator Trailer must be completed within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after receipt of the purchase order.

The contract will be performed at Robeson Community College located at 5160 Fayetteville Road, Lumberton NC 28360.
