Leaf Hauling Services for Temporary Dump Sites in Raleigh

Background
The City of Raleigh, the capital of North Carolina, is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, known for its strong economy and quality of life. The City is focused on environmental sustainability and maintaining clean streets and sidewalks. The Department of Transportation/Field Services is seeking proposals for leaf hauling services to manage seasonal leaf collection effectively.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to transport loose leaves from five temporary dump sites located at:

- Hertz Dr
- 100 New Bern Ave
- 2151 Sunnybrook Rd
- 4600 Lake Boone Tr
- 6100 Thornton Rd

Leaves will be transported to disposal sites at either:

- 3082 Gresham Lake Rd (Wall Recycling)
- 900 N. New Hope Rd (COR Yard Waste)

The contractor must supply a minimum of four Quad Axle or Quint Axle trucks per working day. Leaves will be loaded by City personnel during normal operating hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This work is expected to be intermittent and seasonal from January until the end of April.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of three years starting from the date of contract award, with options for two additional one-year renewals at the City's discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Raleigh, North Carolina, specifically at designated temporary dump sites and disposal locations within the city.
