ITB: Berkley Mills Park Athletic Fields

Background
Henderson County, North Carolina is issuing a solicitation for the construction of the Berkeley Mills Park Athletic Fields project.
The project aims to enhance recreational facilities within Berkeley Park, aligning with the county's mission to provide quality public spaces for community use.
This initiative is supported by funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) appropriated by the U.S. Department of Treasury.

Work Details
The project includes the following construction activities: site grading, erosion control, retaining walls, landscaping, utility construction, parking and sidewalk paving, netting, fencing, and installation of artificial turf.
Specifically, it involves the construction of four artificial turf multi-purpose fields, six tennis courts, and one softball field.
The existing historic baseball field and buildings will be preserved and are not included in this contract.
Additionally, vertical construction of proposed site buildings and athletic site lighting are excluded from this contract.

Period of Performance
Bids for this project must be submitted by 2:00 PM local time on November 25th, 2024.
The exact period of performance for the contract will be determined upon bid acceptance.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Berkeley Mills Park located at 69 Balfour Road, Hendersonville, North Carolina.
