HVAC and BAS Controls Repair Services for Turner Law Facility at NCCU

Background
The contract is issued by NC Central University, which aims to enhance its facilities through engineering and architectural services. The goal of the contract is to repair and upgrade HVAC and BAS controls at the Turner Law Facility, ensuring efficient climate control and operational standards.

Work Details
The project scope includes the following tasks:

- Basement chiller and cooling tower replacement
- Rooftop air-cooled chiller replacement
- MCC (Motor Control Center) replacement
- Standardization of BAS (Building Automation System) controls

Additionally, all Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes will be assessed for potential inclusion in the project. The design services required will primarily focus on mechanical and HVAC controls design, with associated electrical and plumbing design. There may also be a need for architectural, fire protection, and structural design services. The design team can be led by either engineering or architectural professionals.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed over a timeframe leading up to the closing date of March 13, 2025.
