Generative AI Training & Consulting Chief of Staff's Office Support

Background
The Wake County Public School System’s (WCPSS) is seeking consultation and training to develop a systems approach to generative AI, which includes building organizational literacy and providing resources to support both the learning and operations sides of WCPSS.
The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is currently the largest school district in North Carolina and the 15th largest in the United States. There are currently 198 schools serving a student population of approximately 162,000, with approximately 20,000 staff. Wake County covers 854 square miles.

Work Details
The provider must have experience working closely with learning organizations to facilitate innovative, purposeful adult learning initiatives focused on organization-wide impact. The provider must deliver generative AI training to large school districts, assist school districts with developing generative AI policy, work with fast-evolving large language models (LLM) such as ChatGPT and Google Bard, provide training aligned with specific standards for students, teachers, and coaches, and consult with district organizers on finalization and delivery of generative AI district policy for Board consideration and roll out of best practices.

Period of Performance
The contract is scheduled to be performed from July to December 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Wake County Public School System's locations in Raleigh, NC.
