Background
The Davidson County Courthouse – Thomasville Branch Roof Replacement project is initiated by the Support Services Department of Davidson County, North Carolina. The project aims to replace the existing roof system at the courthouse located at 22 Randolph Street, Thomasville, NC. This initiative is part of the county's commitment to maintaining and improving its public facilities.
Work Details
The scope of work includes the replacement of the existing Thermoplastic-Polyolefin roof system with a fully adhered thermoplastic (PVC) roof system covering approximately 7,200 square feet of roof area.
The project will also involve various construction activities as outlined in the specifications, including:
- Preparation for re-roofing
- Installation of roof insulation
- Self-adhered vapor retarder
- Thermoplastic single-ply roofing
- Sheet metal flashing and trim
- Relief vents
The contractor must adhere to all specifications listed in Division 01 through Division 22 of the project manual.
Period of Performance
The contractor is expected to commence work within thirty (30) days following receipt of an executed Owner/Contractor Agreement. All work under the base bid and accepted alternates must be completed within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of commencement.
Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Davidson County Courthouse located at 22 Randolph Street, Thomasville, North Carolina 27360.
