CIPP Lining Project at ARCA Facility

Background
The CIPP Lining Project at the ARCA Facility is initiated by Forsyth County, aiming to maintain and extend the life of its sanitary plumbing infrastructure. This project is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), emphasizing the importance of efficient and sustainable public works.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for cleaning and descaling the interior sanitary plumbing lines using a cast-in-place pipe process. The scope includes relining the pipes, applying an epoxy coat to clean-outs, and conducting a CCTV exploratory inspection at three identified problem areas.

This method allows for the rehabilitation of existing plumbing without the need for extensive excavation or replacement.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed within a specified timeframe following the bid opening on December 20, 2024.

The work will be performed inside the ARCA Facility located at 5755 Shattalon Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
