Audiovisual and Multimedia Equipment Installation and Support Services Contracts

Background
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (the 'University') is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) No. RFP093024AMG to establish multi-year convenience contracts, referred to as University Term Contracts (UTC), with multiple vendors.
The goal of this contract is to provide audiovisual and multimedia equipment, installation/integration, and support services to the University.
The University reserves the right to award contracts to more than one vendor.

Work Details
Vendors are required to provide the following services and products:
1. Audiovisual and multimedia equipment including installation and integration services.
2. Support services for the provided equipment.
3. All equipment must be brand new; used or refurbished items will not be accepted.
4. Vendors must be authorized resellers of the equipment they provide and adhere to standards set by the University and AVIXA.
5. Installation services must be performed by certified technicians, with at least one lead installer present on-site during installations.
6. A warranty of at least twelve months on all equipment is required, covering parts, labor, freight, and technician travel costs.
7. Vendors must provide detailed documentation post-installation including inventory lists, manuals, and configuration files.
8. Training for University personnel on the operation of new systems may also be required.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will begin on January 1, 2025, and end on December 31, 2026.
The University has options for up to four additional two-year renewal terms based on performance and need.

Place of Performance
The contract will primarily be performed at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill located in Chapel Hill, NC.
