Asbestos and Lead Abatement Services for Randolph Correctional Center Dormitories A and B

Background
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Asbestos and Lead Abatement services in Dormitories 'A' and 'B' at the Randolph Correctional Center, located at 2760 US HWY 220 Business South, Asheboro, NC 27203.

This Invitation for Bids (IFB) aims to establish an Agency Contract for these services, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Removal of lead-based paint as identified on drawings and Mechanical Plans (to be provided during the mandatory site visit).
2. The facility will mark approximate locations and quantities of paint to be removed from walls and ceilings prior to removal procedures.
3. Lead removal procedures must meet or exceed all applicable federal, state, local EPA, and OSHA regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of one (1) year, beginning on the date of final contract execution or March 1, 2025, whichever is later.
