Accreditation and Assessment Software Development for Higher Education Institutions

Background
Central Piedmont Community College, one of the largest community colleges in North Carolina, is seeking proposals for a centralized system to manage institutional assessment and accreditation. This platform aims to enhance collaboration and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the college, supporting its accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and other accrediting bodies.

The college serves approximately 57,000 individuals annually and offers over 300 programs in various fields.

Work Details
The contract involves developing a software platform that will:
- Manage institutional assessment processes and accreditation requirements.
- Provide customizable templates for assessments and reports.
- Enable collaboration among stakeholders for writing compliance reports.
- Generate automated reminders and progress reports.
- Integrate with existing learning management systems.
- Support data collection for student learning outcomes and program reviews.
- Ensure compliance with security standards for handling sensitive data, including encryption and access control measures.
- Facilitate disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a term of three years from the effective date as specified in the Notice of Award, with an operational deadline set for June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Central Piedmont Community College locations in North Carolina.
