911 Center Console Furniture

Background
Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Communications (FCSO) is seeking proposals for the replacement of 911 Center Console Furniture at their Communications Center located at 301 North Church Street, Winston-Salem, NC. The goal is to provide a functional and ergonomic solution that meets the unique demands of public safety dispatchers who operate in high-stress environments.

The selected contractor will be responsible for delivering a turnkey solution that includes design, installation, and warranties.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of nine (9) Dispatch Consoles specifically designed for emergency communication centers. The consoles must support multiple monitors and ancillary equipment, ensuring comfort and focus for dispatchers.

Key specifications include:
- Consoles must be engineered for 911 centers with a lifespan of at least ten (10) years.
- Compliance with ANSI/BIFMA G1-2013 and ANSI/HFES 100-2007 ergonomic guidelines.
- Ability to mount eight (8) to ten (10) monitors with modular cable management systems.
- Support for various equipment including IP phones, PCs, KVM devices, microphones, and speakers.
- Adjustable work surfaces with height ranges from 22.6” to 48.7”.
- Integrated technology storage and cable management.
- Optional accessories such as status lights, sign holders, cup holders, and LED lighting.

The proposal must also include project implementation requirements such as coordination with existing staff during installation and compliance with electrical configurations.

Period of Performance
The anticipated start date for the project is between April and May 2025, following the proposal due date of January 23, 2025.
