Public Works and Mobility Engineering Services

Background
The City of Missoula’s Public Works & Mobility Department is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from engineering firms to be added to a prequalified list for engineering services. This initiative aims to support the City’s surface and utility infrastructure projects over the next two fiscal years (2026-2027). The selected firms will provide various engineering services as needed, with project selection based on qualifications and expertise.

Work Details
The engineering services required include overall project management, planning, modeling, engineering analysis and design, grant procurement and administration, bid administration, survey, construction management, and related services for Public Works projects.

Specific areas of expertise include:
1. Surface Transportation Systems - surveying existing conditions, street improvements, storm drainage, non-motorized facilities;
2. Water Distribution System - main replacements and improvements;
3. Sanitary Sewer Collection System - monitoring and improvements;
4. Wastewater Treatment Plant - upgrades based on facility plans;
5. Stormwater System - drainage studies and upgrades compliant with state and federal permits.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a two-year period from fiscal year 2026 through fiscal year 2027.

The geographic location for the performance of this contract is primarily within the City of Missoula, Montana.
