Website Redesign and Maintenance Services for Downtown Hattiesburg Association

Background
The Downtown Hattiesburg Association (DHA) is seeking qualified agencies to redesign, maintain, and support its website. The DHA is committed to preserving and enhancing the growth of Downtown Hattiesburg through community development and quality of place. This contract will be funded through federal ARPA dollars for Mississippi Main Street Recovery, with a preference for companies based in Mississippi or employing Mississippi residents.

Work Details
The selected agency will be responsible for:

1. **Redesign/Responsive Website**:
- Create a fully responsive, robust, easy-to-navigate website that enhances the organization's credibility as a source for visitors.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and compatibility across browsers and devices, including low bandwidth areas.
- Include features such as a content/blog section, alerts/updates banner, engagement tactics, lead generation features, integration of video & motion elements, and connection with social media accounts and other platforms like VibeMap.
- Implement quality assurance measures including beta testing and user feedback systems.
- Ensure compliance with ADA (AA Minimum) and GDPR standards.
- Specific desires include creating a bold and engaging design consistent with new branding, easy navigation for users, uniform image sizes for listings, customized buttons throughout the site, and a functional search feature.

2. **Annual Support/Maintenance**:
- Provide ongoing site testing, regular maintenance, technical support including platform enhancements and compliance updates.
- Offer staff training on website maintenance and troubleshooting post-launch.
- Support Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager as needed.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to span two years with an option for a third year based on performance and proposal strength. Work is anticipated to begin on October 22, 2024.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
