Pre-Bid Conference for Upcoming Project at Port Bienville Industrial Park

Background
The Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission is issuing a solicitation for the construction of South Road Repair Phase 2, Project No. PB2501.

The project aims to enhance infrastructure at the Port Bienville Industrial Park, supporting the agency's mission to promote economic development and improve transportation access in Hancock County, Mississippi.

Work Details
The project generally consists of asphalt mill and overlay along approximately 4,700 feet of South Road from the intersection of Webre Road and South Road to the south entrance of Alpek.

Additional work includes base repairs, stone shoulder installation, striping, and signage. The contractor is responsible for performing all work and providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials as per the specifications and drawings.

Work must commence within 10 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed and achieve substantial completion within 30 consecutive calendar days unless extended by the contract documents. Liquidated damages of $500 per day will be assessed for delays beyond this period.
