Background
The City of Olive Branch, Mississippi is issuing a solicitation for the construction of a shared use path and bridge as part of Federal Aid Project No. STP-0183-00.
The project aims to enhance community infrastructure by providing a safe and accessible route from Ross Road to the George M. Harrison Municipal Park Soccer Complex, covering a total length of 0.874 miles.

Work Details
The work includes grading, draining, and paving the shared use path, as well as constructing a bridge and pavilion.
Additionally, all related items necessary to complete the project as specified in the Contract Documents must be performed by the contractor.
The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, and adhering to the specifications and drawings provided.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed by May 23, 2025.

The construction will take place in Olive Branch, Mississippi, specifically along the route from Ross Road to the George M. Harrison Municipal Park Soccer Complex.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprises) requirements and are encouraged to submit bids without discrimination based on race, color, or national origin.
Each bid must include a bid security in the form of a Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Bidder’s Bond amounting to 5% of the total bid price.
The successful bidder will also need to provide Performance and Payment Bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount.
