SINGLE FEASIBLE SOURCE (SFS) STATE PURCHASE-FY25-0255-SL: Missouri Parents Act

Background
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is seeking to contract with the Missouri Parent Act (MPACT) to provide essential training, resources, and support for families of children with Individual Education Programs (IEPs). This initiative aims to empower parents in making informed educational decisions regarding their children. MPACT is recognized as the sole Parent Training and Information Center in Missouri, funded through the 2004 Reauthorization of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which emphasizes parental involvement in educational planning.

Work Details
The contract will involve providing training and resources specifically designed for parents of children with IEPs. The services are aimed at enhancing parents' understanding of their rights and responsibilities under IDEA, ensuring they can effectively collaborate with local school districts. MPACT is uniquely positioned to deliver these services as it meets the proprietary requirement outlined in RSMo 34.044.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with options for two one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the State of Missouri.
