REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) OA FMDC OPERATION-FY25-0049-SL: Janitorial Services - Mexico

Background
The Office of Administration, Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction (FMDC) of the State of Missouri is seeking competitive bids for janitorial services for state-leased buildings located in Mexico, Missouri.
The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for the building's tenants and visitors.
The current contract for janitorial services at this location is held by RK Janitorial Service at a rate of $0.21 per square foot.

Work Details
The contractor must provide comprehensive janitorial services for approximately 5,050 square feet of office space, which includes daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual cleaning tasks.
Specific tasks include:
- Daily: Emptying trash containers, cleaning glass surfaces, vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping hard floors, cleaning restrooms and break rooms.
- Weekly: Washing wastebaskets, cleaning air diffusers, removing debris from the building perimeter.
- Monthly: Machine scrubbing floors, cleaning light fixtures and vents.
- Semi-Annual: Deep carpet cleaning and thorough scrubbing of ceramic floors.
The contractor must also provide all necessary equipment and supplies including environmentally preferable products and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from the date of award through one year.

Janitorial services will be performed at 4690 S. Clark Street, Mexico (Audrain County), MO 65265.
