Pre-Admission Screening and Annual Resident Review (PASARR)

Background
The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking Pre-Admission Screening and Annual Resident Review (PASARR) services. The PASARR program is designed to ensure that individuals with serious mental illness or intellectual disabilities are not inappropriately placed in nursing facilities. The goal of the contract is to provide comprehensive PASARR services to support the DMH in fulfilling its mission of promoting effective mental health services and ensuring appropriate care for individuals with mental illness or intellectual disabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for conducting pre-admission screenings and annual resident reviews for individuals with serious mental illness or intellectual disabilities, as required by federal regulations. This includes evaluating the individual's need for nursing facility services, determining whether specialized services are needed, and making recommendations for appropriate placement and care. The contractor will also be required to maintain detailed records of all screenings and reviews conducted.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from May 10, 2024, to June 07, 2024.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the jurisdiction of the Department of Mental Health.
