INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) MODOT STL DISTRCT-FY25-0024-SL: Maryland Heights Project Office Parking Lot & Drainage Improvement Project Rebid

Background
The Missouri Department of Transportation - St. Louis District is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Maryland Heights Project Office Parking Lot and Drainage Improvement Project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the parking lot and improve drainage at MoDOT's Maryland Heights Project Office located at 2620 Adie Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.

The project includes a stormwater portion that must be completed and invoiced by June 15, 2025, and a parking lot paving portion that must be completed by October 1, 2025.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for resurfacing the parking lot and implementing drainage improvements as outlined in the attached Scope of Work and Sealed Plans. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete these services as directed by the Engineer.

Key components include:
- Removal of existing improvements
- Temporary shoring
- Grading
- Installation of aggregate base
- Asphalt pavement (both 5" and 4")
- Concrete curb installation
- Furnishing and placing rock blankets
- Temporary traffic control measures
- Mobilization efforts
- ADA accessible parking symbols
- Waterborne pavement markings
- Surveying and staking services
- Excavation work
- Installation of barbed wire extensions for chain-link fences
- Manhole frames and covers (types 2 and 3)
- Various sizes of precast concrete structures including drop inlets and pipes
- Sediment removal operations
- Mulching and seeding with warm season grasses.

Period of Performance
The stormwater portion of the project must be completed by June 15, 2025. The parking lot paving portion must be completed by October 1, 2025.

The work will be performed at MoDOT's Maryland Heights Project Office located at 2620 Adie Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
