INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) DOC MARYVILLE-FY25-0001-SL: Wastewater Treatment Services-MTC

Background
The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking competitive sealed bids to establish a contract for wastewater treatment services at the Maryville Treatment Center (MTC), one of the nineteen correctional facilities in Missouri. The facility requires these services to operate safely. The current contract number for reference is CS222206001. The MTC has a maximum capacity of 333 male offenders and is located at 30227 US Highway 136, Maryville, MO 64468.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide comprehensive wastewater treatment services, including:

1. A Class C wastewater operator to manage the sewer treatment plant.
2. Operation of the sewer treatment plant in compliance with Department of Natural Resources regulation 10 CSR 20-9.020.
3. Routine maintenance services for the sewer treatment plant on a set schedule as per industry standards and manufacturer's recommendations.
4. Standard testing required by Department of Natural Resources regulation 10 CSR 20-9.010.
5. Use of state agency's electrical power for service provision.
6. Submission of the name and address of the wastewater operator and permit details within fifteen working days after award notice.
7. Supervision of all contractor employees involved in service provision and a tonnage fee for sludge disposal.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be from July 29, 2025, through July 28, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Maryville Treatment Center located at 30227 US Highway 136, Maryville, MO 64468.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in MissouriBUYS with 'Approved' and 'Spend Authorized' status to be considered for contract award. They must comply with all laws regarding conducting business in Missouri, including registration of business name, applicable licenses, permits, insurance requirements, and must not employ unauthorized aliens as per section 285.530 (1) RSMo.
