Background
The Jefferson County Department of Administrative Services is issuing this Invitation for Bid for the procurement of highway materials and supplies for the maintenance of roads and bridges in Jefferson County, Missouri. The goal is to ensure that the county has access to necessary materials for effective highway maintenance.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase of miscellaneous highway maintenance materials and supplies, including but not limited to:
- Handle tools (shovels, rakes, axes, scrapers)
- Power hand tools (drills, grease guns, grinders)
- Manual hand tools (hammers, saws, pliers)
- Concrete equipment (rebar chairs, insulating blankets)
- Fasteners (chains, ratchet straps)
- Metal materials (angles, plates, pipes)
- Marking paint.

The contract will be based on net prices resulting from a percentage discount off specified manufacturers' price sheets. Suppliers must provide a toll-free number for order placements and are required to submit current manufacturers' price sheets with their bids.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is one year from the date of acceptance, with options for two additional one-year renewals at the same terms and conditions upon written consent from the successful bidder.

The services will be performed within Jefferson County, Missouri.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a current and valid Certificate of Insurance showing required coverage with Jefferson County as an additional insured. They must also prove they do not owe delinquent real or personal property taxes in Jefferson County. Bidders are required to submit notarized affidavits regarding work authorization and business entity status. Additionally, bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding labor and employment.
