Background
The City of Springfield, Missouri, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #100-2025 for the purpose of contracting qualified firms or individuals to provide concrete pavement replacement and the installation of stamped and tinted concrete pavement. This initiative aligns with the city's mission to maintain and improve public infrastructure, ensuring safe and accessible roadways for its residents.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, taxes, insurance, fuels, permits, and any other items necessary to complete the work. The scope includes:
1. Removal of existing street pavement and curbs;
2. Excavation;
3. Placement of base material;
4. Installation of new concrete pavement and curbs at various locations including:
- Concrete Roadways: Florence Ave (Sunshine Street to End of Street), Rogers Ave (Sunshine Street to End of Street), Bellhurst Ave (Mimosa Street to Shady Glen Drive), Eastgate Ave (Kearney Street to ~500lf North of Kearney), Lexington Ave (Walnut Street to Lincoln Street), Holland Ave (Glenwood Street to Downing Street), Grant Ave (Crestview Street to Downing Street).
- Concrete Crosswalks: Commercial Street at Booneville Ave, Robberson Ave, Jefferson Ave, Campbell Ave, Benton Ave, Lyon Ave; Campbell Ave and Water Street; Boonville Ave and Olive Street; John Q Hammons Parkway and Walnut Street.
Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by a specified date following the Notice to Proceed. The exact duration will be determined based on the contractor's proposed timeline during bidding.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Springfield, Missouri.
