Background
The St. Charles County Highway Department is issuing an Invitation for Formal Bids (IFB 25-034) for the project titled 'Asphalt Rejuvenating Seal on County Roads' in St. Charles County, Missouri.

Work Details
The contract involves the supply and placement of approximately 149,524 square yards of asphalt rejuvenating seal on various county roads.

This includes all incidental tasks related to this process, such as traffic control measures and temporary striping where applicable. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all work complies with the St. Charles County Standard Specifications for Arterial Highway Construction – 2020.

Additionally, the contractor must provide proof of lawful presence as per Section 208.009 RSMo before the pre-construction conference.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall not commence work prior to receiving a written notice from the County Engineer and must complete all work by September 27, 2025.

A full Notice to Proceed is expected around May 27, 2025.
