Water Heater for MCF-Stillwater

Background
The Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking to procure a water heater for its Stillwater facility. The goal of this contract is to ensure the delivery of a new water heater unit and the removal and disposal of the existing unit, which will be disconnected and ready for removal by DOC staff.

Work Details
The project scope includes:
- Delivery of one Bock OptiTHERM (High Efficiency Condense) water heater, Model OT400N2.
- Removal and disposal of the existing water heater, Model OT400N2, Serial number 22043023T.
- The awarded vendor must ensure that the new unit is set in place, while DOC will handle all plumbing and electrical hookups.

The specifications for the new unit include:
- Type: Direct Fired
- Fuel Type: Natural Gas
- Thermal Efficiency: 99%
- Capacity: 119 gallons
- Max Rated Input: 400,000 BTU/HR
- Emissions: Ultra Low NOx
- Warranty: 5-Year Limited Tank / Heat Exchanger.

All work must be completed no later than June 30, 2025. The contractor must provide all necessary tools and equipment for installation and ensure that the site is cleaned up post-installation.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on February 28, 2025, and will expire on June 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Minnesota Department of Corrections facility located in Stillwater, Minnesota.
