RFP for Video Production Services

Background
Washington County, established in 1849, serves an area of 423 square miles with an estimated population of 262,748. The county offers a full range of services including law enforcement, public works, human services, and more.

The goal of this RFP is to secure video production services for recruitment videos that will highlight each department's functions and culture to attract potential candidates.

Work Details
The contractor will produce 12 recruitment videos, each between one to two minutes long. The videos will feature the functions of each department, testimonials from employees, DEI initiatives, and reasons for potential applicants to join the county team.

Services include pre-production planning and six days of on-site video production as per the following tentative schedule:
- Day 1: Accounting and Finance (2 hours), Administration (2 hours), Human Resources (2 hours)
- Day 2: Community Services (6 hours)
- Day 3: Community Corrections (3 hours), Sheriff’s Office (3 hours)
- Day 4: Attorney’s Office (2 hours), Public Health and Environment (3 hours)
- Day 5: Information Technology (3 hours), Public Works (3 hours)
- Day 6: Property Records and Taxpayer Services (3 hours), Library (3 hours).

Deliverables include finalized videos suitable for sharing on various platforms, digital files in formats such as .mov or .mp4, and all videos must include closed captions in English.

Period of Performance
The contract period is anticipated to commence on November 8, 2024.

Place of Performance
The video production will primarily take place at various locations within Washington County including the Government Center and R.H. Stafford Library.
