THIS IS A FORMAL REQUEST FOR BID. Non-electronic and e-mail responses WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The response must be submitted in the Supplier Portal no later than the date and time called for in the Finish Time in the Event Details. The State of Minnesota (State) is seeking to purchase Rip Rap delivered to six miles northwest of Mabel, MN. The Contractor(s) must be able to provide Rip Rap for an order at a contracted rate to the location listed in Exhibit C of the Contract document. The State reserves the right to use any Contract that may result from this Solicitation. SUBMITTING QUESTIONS. Questions from prospective Responders regarding this solicitation Must be submitted in writing to Jeeneng.vang@state.mn.us no later than December 18, 2024, 2:00 PM CT. All questions received by the cutoff date and time will be responded to via an addendum. Background
The State of Minnesota, through its Department of Natural Resources (DNR), is seeking to purchase Rip Rap for a project located approximately six miles northwest of Mabel, MN.

The purpose of this contract is to provide necessary materials for stream bank stabilization as part of the DNR's environmental management efforts.

Work Details
The contractor will deliver approximately 310 tons of MNDOT Class V rip rap, 190 tons of MNDOT Class III rip rap, and 35 tons of 1½” clean crossing rock.

The delivery will be made to a designated stream bank site accessible via a maintained field access road. The contractor must ensure that all materials are new and meet the specified quality standards.

The DNR reserves the right to adjust the quantities as needed and will not guarantee the total amount required. Delivery is expected to commence once the ground has frozen sufficiently for dump truck travel.

Period of Performance
The contract is effective from January 1, 2025, until June 30, 2025, with an option for extension up to one additional year at the State's discretion.

Place of Performance
Delivery location is approximately six miles northwest of Mabel, MN, specifically at the stockpile site located at 41657 156th St, Mabel, MN 55954.
