Swartz Creek Community Schools District Wide Hvac Upgrades

Background
Swartz Creek Community Schools is seeking bids for district-wide HVAC upgrades to enhance the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across multiple school facilities. The goal of this contract is to improve the indoor climate and energy efficiency of the schools within the district, which includes Cage Fieldhouse, Dieck Elementary, Elms Elementary, Morrish Elementary, Swartz Creek High School, Syring Elementary, and Swartz Creek Middle School.

Work Details
The contract involves providing labor, materials, equipment, and all other services necessary to complete HVAC upgrades at the specified school locations. Bidders must refer to the plans and specifications prepared by French Associates for detailed requirements. The work will include installation or replacement of HVAC systems as per the provided specifications.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence after the bid award and must be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the bidding documents.

Place of Performance
The HVAC upgrades will be performed at various locations within the Swartz Creek Community Schools district: Cage Fieldhouse, Dieck Elementary, Elms Elementary, Morrish Elementary, Swartz Creek High School, Syring Elementary, and Swartz Creek Middle School.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit proposals that include a bid bond executed by a U.S. Treasury listed surety company or a cashier’s check of at least 5% of the proposal amount if it exceeds $30,512.00. Successful bidders with proposals of $50,000 or more are required to furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid. Proposals must also include a Familial Disclosure Statement and an Affidavit of Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
