Sheiko Elementary Building Demolition

Background
The West Bloomfield School District's Board of Education is seeking firm prime contractor bids for the demolition of Sheiko Elementary School.
The goal of this contract is to safely and efficiently demolish the existing structure as part of the district's facilities management and improvement efforts.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete demolition of Sheiko Elementary School, including all associated site work as specified in the plans and specifications prepared by TMP Architecture Inc.
The bid documents can be accessed through Pipeline Suite, and a review set will be available at the office of George W. Auch Company.
Proposals must be submitted in duplicate using the provided forms, sealed in an opaque envelope, and must include a bid bond or cashier’s check for at least 5% of the proposal amount if it exceeds $29,572.00.
Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more must also provide a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of their bid amount.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to follow the timeline outlined in the bid documents, with specific dates for proposal submission and project initiation detailed therein.

The demolition work will take place at Sheiko Elementary School located at 4500 Walnut Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323.
