Background
The City of Detroit, through its Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), is seeking proposals from prequalified vendors for the abatement and demolition of blighted residential structures as part of its Neighborhoods Program. The goal is to improve neighborhoods and enhance the quality of life for residents by removing dangerous and unfit properties.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is specifically for the Demolition Release T4 under Proposal N for the Neighborhoods Program.

Work Details
The contract involves the abatement and demolition of a total of 120 residential properties located within the City of Detroit. Vendors must complete hazardous materials removal prior to demolition, including asbestos-containing materials.

Each vendor must submit a Hazardous & Regulated Materials Quantities Bid Quantities Sheet detailing the estimated quantities of materials to be abated. The work must adhere to the Scope of Services outlined in Exhibit A, which includes compliance with safety regulations and proper disposal methods. Vendors are required to conduct site visits to assess conditions that may affect demolition methods.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as detailed in the Scope of Services. The exact duration will depend on the number of properties awarded to each vendor and their capacity to perform the work.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed within various neighborhoods in the City of Detroit, specifically at the locations listed in the attached Price Sheets and Property Info Sheets.
