Pole Barn

Background
The Saugatuck High School is seeking bids for the construction of a Pole Barn. The contract is being managed by GDK Construction, located in Holland, MI. The goal of this project is to provide a new facility that meets the needs of the school district.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete construction of a Pole Barn at Saugatuck High School. This includes all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to ensure the structure meets local building codes and specifications.

Bidders must review all drawings and specifications provided in the bidding documents available on GDK Construction’s Datto Workplace site.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the bidding documents.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at Saugatuck High School, located in Saugatuck, Michigan.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have at least five years of successful experience in similar projects, possess any required licenses from public authorities, and demonstrate ample financial resources.

Each bid must include a sworn and notarized Familiar Disclosure Statement regarding relationships with the District’s Board of Education or Superintendent. Additionally, bids must be accompanied by bid security or a bid bond of at least 5% of the bid amount. Successful bidders must secure Performance, Labor, and Material bonds for contracts exceeding $50,000 from an A- rated surety company.
