Background
Jalen Rose Leadership Academy (JRLA) is an open enrollment, tuition-free public charter high school located in Detroit, Michigan. Established in September 2011, JRLA serves over 400 students in grades nine through twelve and has over 600 alumni. The academy focuses on providing a leadership-oriented education that prepares students for college and beyond. The goal of this contract is to secure a reliable vendor to supply high-quality VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) phones and services to support the academy's administrative and educational operations.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive VOIP phone system that includes:

1. Site Survey and Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive site survey to assess the current infrastructure and identify necessary network upgrades for optimal VOIP performance.

2. System Design and Planning: Design a tailored VOIP solution, including network layout, phone placement, and integration with existing systems.

3. Equipment Provision: Supply VOIP phones (quantity to be determined based on the site survey) and necessary networking equipment (e.g., switches, routers).

4. Installation and Configuration: Install VOIP phones at designated locations within the school and configure the system settings including phone numbers, extensions, and voicemail.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of the VOIP system to ensure functionality, including call quality tests.

6. Training and Documentation: Provide training sessions for staff on using the VOIP system along with detailed user manuals.

7. Ongoing Support and Maintenance: Offer a maintenance plan covering regular check-ups, updates, troubleshooting, and technical support during school hours.

Period of Performance
The contract will be structured as an annual contract with three additional one-year options to renew or as a three-year contract option. The anticipated start date for project activities is August 29th, 2024.
